Bonal International Second Quarter Report for Fiscal Year 2023

Bonal International, Inc., (OTC: BONL) announced revenue results of $411,078 for the second quarter ended September 30, 2022, which was down 25.7 percent over the last year’s second quarter.  Net income for the second quarter was $1,824, down from last year’s second quarter of $76,638.  Earnings per share for the second quarter was $0.00 per share, down from last year’s second quarter earnings of $0.04 per share.

During the quarter, Bonal was selected as the Top Metal Working Company for 2022 by the Manufacturing Technology Insights (MTI) magazine.  MTI has 154,000 subscribers.  MTI chose to recognize Bonal in their annual September issue that listed the Top 10 metal working and machine tool companies.  The recognition was accompanied by a four-page cover story about how Bonal’s patented metal stress-relief process, Meta-Lax, had the potential to radically improve the industry.

“During the quarter, we saw a surge in sales for our semi-automatic system, Model 2401. Sales for this system accounted for 45 percent by volume, up from last year’s average of 24 percent,” said Thomas E. Hebel, chairman. 

Year-to-date revenue was $893,438, down 7.4 percent from last fiscal year’s first six-month period.  Net income for the six months was $21,026, down from $112,973 net income over the same period.  Earnings per share was $0.01 compared to $0.06 per share over the same period last year.
